Solar Eclipse Of 2017
We were close enough to the center that we decided to stay here. We set up our scopes in the Church parking lot. We put signs at the road offering free telescope views of the eclipse. The Clarks have several filters, so depending on which filter I used, and which scope, the pictures are different colors. One filter turned out to have several dirt spots on it. We had people just stop by, some stayed quite a while. Teachers, students, everybody enjoyed it. The local newspaper made a front page story about the eclipse.
